Poi Mochi
1 bag poi
1 1/2 cup sugar
18 oz. Mochiko flour (about 1 1/4 box)
1 3/4 to 2 cups of water
Mix and blend well, poi and sugar.
Add the Mochiko flour, slowing mix while adding the water,
continue adding the water until the batter is the consistancy of THICK pancake batter.
Drop by spoonsful or small cookie scooper in hot oil, fry until golden brown,
drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon! Enjoy. |
